FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA - In a further commitment to enhance woman's health, Broward Health Weston's Women's Center is now offering the latest technology for breast cancer screening with the GeniusTM 3D MammographyTM machine.
The GeniusTM 3D MammographyTM is another part of the clinic's advanced services specifically tailored for women. The imaging device features a unique curved design to mimic the shape of a breast, allowing the patient to feel less pain and more comfort during exams.
“We continue to seek and add services that will enhance the advanced care we provide our patients,” said Christina Grove, interim vice president of ambulatory division at Broward Health. “With the 3D imaging, we hope more women will feel at ease and take charge of their health.”
In addition to breast tomosynthesis, Broward Health Weston offers urgent care, comprehensive diagnostic imaging services such as CT and MRI, as well as breast MRI and ultrasound.
