Advanced and Accredited Imaging Services

Broward Health’s nuclear medicine, MRI, CT, mammography, and ultrasound services are fully accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR). This prestigious achievement showcases our commitment to providing the highest quality standards in the community.

Broward Health Weston is also home to the first Siemens Definition AS+ 128 Multi-Slice CT Scanner in Broward County. It's the world's first CT Scanner to adapt to virtually every patient and provides imaging for most types of diagnostic exams, including vessel imaging, cardiac tests, and cancer staging. Exceptionally fast – even faster than the human heart – it produces spectacular images that often eliminate the need for follow-up tests.

Why Choose Broward Health?

Our American Board of Radiology certified physicians provide professional diagnostic imaging services and fellowship training in various subspecialties of radiology. We pride ourselves on providing expert care with excellent quality images.

All Broward hospitals provide outpatient imaging services that include all modalities. Broward also has two ambulatory imaging centers—one in Weston that offers all modalities and one in Fort Lauderdale that currently offers MRI (3T), digital mammography, and ultrasounds.

As we increase our presence and service options in the community, we plan to add more modalities to our Fort Lauderdale outpatient imaging center. These front-line services will include:

  • Computed tomography (CT) scans
  • Radiology
  • Bone density scans
  • Tomography (3D mammograms)
